6 year old chicken nuggets, as “good” as the day they were made

It is completely terrifying, if you allow yourself to actually stop and think about this, what must be in these for them to not spoil, AT ALL, in six years. My family and I have sworn off McDonald’s for years now and after seeing this, there is no way we could ever go back. It is things like this that really make one think about how it is even cleared for human consumption.  Our kids will not think about this, but this experiment would do wonders to show them. So make you next (maybe last) purchase at McDonald’s these chicken nuggets and see how long they last on your counter (don’t let anyone eat them). If you’re willing, put out some real food to compare the two. I would guess after a few weeks your kids will never think about eating McDonald’s nuggets again.

What foods have Omega 3 and which ones have the most?

In recent a discussions with my husband, he wanted to know which foods have Omega 3 fatty acids. This led him to do a little digging via Google and he came across this cool resource which he shared with me. As a disclaimer, I am not endorsing the book advertised nor do I claim that the science behind figures are accurate, but I do know that the foods are good sources of Omega 3 fatty acids and the site has charts… and who doesn’t love a good chart.
